July / August 2022 - Newsletter
Finally it seems like life is getting back to normal as we observe fewer hiccups in our day to day lives. All three of us attended the Gonstead Seminar in Albury in May and it was worth the effort to get there to experience face to face learning and catch up with our friends and mentors, and just hang out with other like-minded people. We’ll be heading off to Melbourne at the end of August to do it all over again with a larger conference planned and even more people to catch up with and most importantly learn from and with. We were so busy learning and catching up with everyone that we completely forgot to take any photos while we were there, so we’ll have to remember to do that in Melbourne!
After almost two and a half years Kit was finally reunited with his parents when they came from Kuala Lumpur to visit in late May. They stayed for a few weeks and explored most of Adelaide’s highlights as well as a few regional discovery trips. They were happy to spend time with him and Lydia and to finally start travelling internationally again. They all flew to Melbourne to visit Kit’s younger sister at the end of their trip….a special reunion after the past few years of all being isolated from one another. Kit’s next plan is to visit them in KL and see his friends and extended family at home as soon as he has the opportunity. We all have lots to catch up on after missing so many important celebrations and events over the past few years with family and friends.
